About Ms. Zopf
Katherine graduated from Alma College in 2000 with a B.A. in Political Science and Biology. She attended Michigan State University - Detroit College of Law, graduating in 2003. During law school, Katherine clerked for two years at a boutique environmental law firm in Lansing, focusing on administrative law.
Katherine was admitted to practice in the state of Michigan in 2004. She is an active member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Family Law and Environmental Law sections of the State Bar.
Upon admission to the bar, Katherine practiced at a general law firm in Traverse City for three years, focusing on the areas of family and environmental law and personal injury. In 2006, she moved to a Detroit law firm practicing family law exclusively. Since January 2011, Katherine has owned and operated the Law Offices of Katherine L. Zopf, practicing exclusively in family law, criminal law, and probate matters.
